High CPU use- system32, spool/sv
I tried to renew Mcafee protection but it wouldn't load. I bought Norton protection and installed it. Some time later I turned on the PC and Norton message of "high CPU use- system 32, spool/sv. For 3 days , it kept coming up and now saying more than one CPU is being used. I do not have a canon printer but do have Brothers MFC 7340. What can I do? Thanks BOBMONROE1 person needs an answerI do too

Thanks BOBMONROESorry to tell you this, but in my opinion you went from one of the twoworst security programs to the other one.Sorry, I can't help you with the details of the Norton problem. For ananti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you are willingto pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one (do notrun more than one) of the following three: Avira AntiVirAvastMicrosoft Security Essentials You also need anti-spyware software. I recommend that you download andinstall (freeware) MalwareBytes AntiMalware.Ken Blake (MS MVP)
