Homegroup Won't Connect
I have two computers, each running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. One is a laptop, wirelessly connected to a Linksys router, and one is a desktop, connected to a switch, which is connected to the router. I cannot create a homegroup between the two. The really weird thing is that both computers say there is a homegroup on the network, created by a computer that I got rid of before I got either of these computers!!! I cannot figure out what is going on here. The desktop sometimes will see the homegroup created by the laptop, but it will never connect to it. Have tried homegroup troubleshooter, didn't help at all. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

1. Have you checked connectivity with ping? 2. For test reason disable firewall and try again. Regards Milos
