Homegroup is driving me insane!!!
I have just upgraded my 5 pc's (1 HP AIO, 1 custom EVGA rig, 1 Dell, and 2 HP 4440s laptops) to 8.1 Pro 64 bit. They are all updated and use the same server for system time (time.windows.com) and are all synchronized. I cannot, for the life of me, get any of them to connect to the PC I've created the Homegroup on (EVGA rig-hardwired).  I have an Westell (Netgear) 7550 that I believe is the source of the problem. When any of the PC's are hardwired to the modem/router, they do not recognize the created Homegroup but when I disconnect the LAN and go wireless on any of the machines, they recognize the created Homegroup on EVGA but will not connect.

I get an error saying that the problem is network related.

This is as far as I can get with the troubleshooter. Everything else that MS gives as a possible fix is useless and completely incorrect..... as usual.

P.S. How can I get my account verified so I can post a screenshot?
