I have an HP Pavillion m9500y and a Toshiba NB205 netbook. Both run Windows 7 64bit. Both have good wireless internet connections and I can access files between them and yet cannot resolve the Homegroup problem My wireless router is a Cisco WRT320N connected to a cable modem. When I try to set up a Homegroup, I keep getting the message that "Windows cannot set up a Homegroup on this computer" I have searched the web for a possible solution but have not found anything that works. Both computers have Windows Home Premium upgrades installed. I have noticed that some of the recommendations on the web (I have tried them all) refer to context menus and other details that I don't seem to have on my units. Is that what the problem may be? Was the Homegroup not complete or up to date after doing the upgrade? Any ideas anyone?

Delete it then reboot to check if the issue persists.
