My hotmail was highjacked and sorted out but the 'jackers' name/email address is still shown as my alternate email address!!?? Unless I can change this i will have to cancel my hotmail account of 13 years, earlier contact with Microsoft online help/abuse dept has not helped in any way so far! If this is not the correct area to deal with this can anybody tell me which is the correct approach?1 person got this answerI do too

I understand the answer BUT - if I make any change the details will be sent to the alternate address.I am at a page -Account.live/proofs/AddEmail- This I can do BUT will a confirmation of this be sent to the 'hacker's email address? Will I then have 2 alternate email addresses?I still can't remove the hacker's email address???
