How can I remove an account from the mail app that I can't reset a wrong password for?

I have a Google Apps account set up in the mail app that no longer exists. When I try to remove the account I can only get to the screen that wants me to update the account information, because it thinks I have a wrong password.

How can I just remove the account from the app?
