How can I stop Firefox from installing as a user and NOT local administrator?
I am on am Windows 7 as a user with NO local administration permissions. I find that Firefox can install! I am NOT happy! It seems that a good number of other programs can be "stopped" but I know that people at my company like Firefox and it causes problems for myself, who handles the helpdesk calls for issues that should be for Internet Explorer (the supported web browser) and people are using Firefox from Mozilla. I have a Zipped file on my SkyDrive for the PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) that I took demonstrating the issue.

Your going to need a Systems Admin or someone in your organization who has access to Group Policy and have them either disallow people the ability to run firefox (this will take care of the people whom already have it installed) or disallow them to install it. Your Sys Admins should also be able to run a script which can uninstall firefox. This would be one way of doing it but i'm sure theres more.

Yes. You can configure Applocker from server side and apply to client computers. AppLocker – Application Security, Install, Windows 7 TechNet Arthur Xie - MSFT

Shouldn't being a NON local administrator mean that nothing can be installed and the fact that I can install Mozilla's Firefox, is a bug either with the OS or with how Firefox wrote their install pacakge? For me, if I were to "figure this out" then I can get around all the annoying non admin stuff and just make software load without having to worry.
