How do I allow non-admin users to create ODBC user dsn?
Hi,
You can try to temporary disable UAC on the machine for test. If it doesnt help, you can also try to grant full
control permission to Domain Users/Users as needed by using Group Policy under the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC
More detail, you can refer this thread:

We don't allow users on the domain to run as administrator. Users trying to set up an ODBC dsn are prompted for the administrator password. Is there a way we can allow domain users to create ODBC connections on their local machines without an administrator
account?
