How do I attach a png file to a post?
How do I attach a PNG file to a post? I found no "forum" for my question. You do not seem to have a forum serving those who want to use your forums.

You can use the HTML button to insert an image. Click on it and then enter the following code: <img src="PICTURE-URL"> <img src="http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Graphics/IEBeatz/assets/ie-logo-small.png"> Results in: Have Questions About Installing Windows 7? Now that's all well and good, but let me give you a real world instance, which I can handle easily in just about every forum out there which is not from Microsoft, namely: Use disk management to display info about your drives, snip a copy of diskmanagement output using the snipping tool and save the snip into a subfolder of your Pics folder. Now attach that to your next post and realize that the normal user is sitting at his own laptop/desktop connected to the internet thru who knows what for an ISP. Looking forward to your answer.

It has to be uploaded to a website first when you need to insert a screenshot to this forum - forgot to mention that part. Most people use a free image hosting website, two are listed below. http://photobucket.com/ http://imageshack.us/ Then once you have the URL you can follow the instructions above. Or an easier method - once it's on a website you can drag and drop the picture into the post you're typing. Have Questions About Installing Windows 7? Trek, As I stated in a previous post, I do not care to use 3rd party sites for either upload or download. This is also not necessary when posting png files on most forums. Microsoft forum software is far, far, far behind the times. I see no sense in use hammer and nails to build a house when there are far more modern approaches.
