How do I get past my passwords?
I have bought three computers from a business auction. I have been trying for hours to get past the passwords they set up. I have gone to your website and the computers do not act according to your directions to get past the initial startup. I have Windows XP Proffessional on all of these computers. When I push F8 to start up in safe mode it gives me the option to continue using F1 or to enter setup using F2. It does not let me start it in safe mode. The F12 button works as well, however, I can't seem to get into the utilities section of my computer. Apparently it is "Unavailable". How can I fix this? Please help! Thank You!1 person needs an answerI do too

We are all just Windows 7 users here, helping each other if and when we can. We are not Microsoft employees(not even those of us with "Microsoft MVP" behind our names; that's anhonorary title for having provided consistently helpful advice) exceptfor an occasional employee.I have Windows XP Proffessional on all of these computers. You have no idea how the computer has been maintained, what has been installed incorrectly, what is missing, what viruses andspyware there may be, etc. I wouldn't want to live with somebodyelse's mistakes and problems, possibility of kiddy p0rn, etc., and Iwouldn't recommend that anyone else do so either.Ken Blake

When you get a PC that been used by someone else or has password , as Ken said, you have to format it and reinstall Windows, some PCs might have a key or CD that if you press or insert they will format and reinstall Windows but if you have Windows CD , you should format drivers and reinstall it.It is the safest way in your case, as long as we don't know what preview users done to that PC and it might be infected or other issues.
