This seems to solve the problem for me:Register at the http://connect.microsoft.comAnd then, go to this link:https://connect.microsoft.com/site/sitehome.aspx?SiteID=647

Hi,I tried that, but got this:Page Not Found The content that you requested cannot be found or you do not have permission to view it. If you believe you have reached this page in error, click the Help link at the top of the page to report the issue and include this ID in your e-mail: c9cc1b06-4e3f-4e29-8b15-867bad3a95a6

It just looks like a bad link, but I would still try to sign up for Connect.

Are you registered for Connect? If not then that is the reason you are getting that particular error.John Barnett - Windows XP Associate Expert; Windows Desktop Experience. - Web: http://www.winuser.co.uk; Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org; Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org

I am registered on the Connect web site, although I was not invited to participate in the private Windows 7 beta on Connect. I can't believe, however, that Microsoft would exclude feedback from 99% of users after opening the beta itself up to the public.Beyond registering on the Connect web site itself, what do I need to do?

There is a link to enroll yourself in the connect bug report program as an msdn/technet user - check your corresponding website for it.

What happens if you try this link? It worked for me, but I think you need to have a valid Technet or MSDN subscription.https://connect.microsoft.com/InvitationUse.aspx?ProgramID=2819&SiteID=647&InvitationID=MSDN-D7QX-9PRC&wa=wsignin1.0

I do have a Technet Plus subscription (from work) but submitting feedback with it doesn't work. I suspect this is because I ended up activating with a key issued from the public beta rather than the one issued by TechNet Plus.I suppose I can try reactivating with the TechNet Plus key, but this requirement still leaves me baffled: Microsoft is doing a public beta with millions of participants and does not want feedback from all those people?Update: Using the Technet Plus product key and LiveID also did not work.

This is unusual, because I have no clue what this Connect is, and I can submit feedback just fine. All I have is a live ID.

I have tried two different product keys: One from Technet Plus, and later one I obtained directly from Microsoft's public beta site. Both product keys are accepted and activate Windows with no problem (it tells me I'm "Genuine") -- but I can't submit feedback.

Could the settings in the Feedback tool be wrong? How would I double-check them?Which particular Connect program do I need to be enrolled it? Maybe I can find it using the Connect website's search feature?
