I have some users that connect remotely using Cisco VPN connection and Windows 7 Enterprise. If we create a new folder with permissions for this user. Since they aren't actually on our network it seems they are not receiving the updated permissions and are unable to access the network folders. I have the users reboot and log back in but the Cisco VPN client they use does not allow for VPN connection before login which would solve this issue. Is there a way to run a command that updates the permissions from Active Directory remotely?
