Hello Parveen, You can use bcdedit to do this. open an elevated cmd prompt Run bcdedit /enum to get a list of the entries you need the identifier field from the BCD output Windows Boot Loader ------------------- identifier {9bedea43-4c96-11de-9967-000a3a5082f7}device partition=C: path \Windows\system32\winload.exe description win7 locale en-US inherit {bootloadersettings} recoverysequence {9bedea41-4c96-11de-9967-000a3a5082f7}recoveryenabled Yes osdevice partition=C: systemroot \Windows resumeobject {b4ffdfa3-ae09-11de-a594-806e6f6e6963} nx OptIn pae ForceEnable usefirmwarepcisettings No Then run bcdedit /set {9bedea43-4c96-11de-9967-000a3a5082f7} description "Darrell Gorter" This changes the boot entry to Darrell Gorter Thanks, Darrell Gorter This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
