How to disable update notification of lync 2010 client

I push the lync.msi on my SCCM server, but I want control the client version, I don't want my user update their client.

Is there any way to disable update notification? In registry key or some other way?

Hi,

I would like to confirm if the lync client update is displayed through traditional Windows Update. If this case, you can just disable the Windows Update feature in a GPO.

But I don't want disable my windows update feature, it is an important feature which we are always using.

Please tell me if there is any way to disable the notification on client, not on server!

Hi Kent,

Can you escalate this case if you have no idea?

Hi deltathree,

Sorry for the long delay. You can try to hide the specific Lync update in Windows Update:

How about doing it globally for all users? Original poster is asking if there is a registry key that can be deployed with a GPO.
