How to speedup NFS client for Windows 7?
Hi, I am connecting to a Linux server using NFS client for Windows7. Over SMB I can get about 110-115 MB/sec (both reading and writing) but when connected over NFS I get no more that 50 MB/sec read and 25 MB/sec write (that is over standard gigabit Ethernet) I also tried some some third party NFS software and I also got 110 MB/sec... thing is: I hate to part with 300$ (x4) Is there any way to speed things up? It is evidently possible... Thanks, Bob

Please download and install the packs from the following website. Utilities and SDK for Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications in Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=2391 Then install NFS client in it.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
