I have one netgear wireless hub at home connected with 3 computers, 2 laptos (VistaBusiness+ XP Pro)1 desktop (XP Home) . But I cannot see any other computer by none of each. What disabled the computer to be found in the 'Lan' or, how can we share the files and folders with others in the Lan. the following questions is how can I later disable this function in some of the computer to hide in the Lan? I don't want to have one of the computer always accessible in the Lan. By the way, computers have windows firewall enabled (by default) and anti virus software. hopefully not because of them... You need to enable File and Printer sharing in Windows Firewall in order to be able to "see" machines on the network.
