Hi All, I have laptop configured with Windows Vista. I trying to set up Broad Band net connection using Huawei SmartAX MT882 ADSL modem using Ethernet port. After struggling I'm not able to establish the connection. When I contacted the BSNL Customer Care, they specifity the LAN indication light should change to Green to Orange, then only you can establish the Connection. Since there is no provision for UBS drivers for this moderm also. The same modem works fine in Windows XP. Any solution for this? Regards, Satish EC

Hi, Huawei does not seem to have released a vista driver for this widely used modem. A workaround is to buy an additional PCMCIA ethernet card, to be connected to the net & LAN at same time.
