I've reset the email address for my Outlook 2007 (which I haven't used in months). But the system keeps requesting my username & password. I DON'T KNOW WHAT MY PASSWORD IS, OR AT THE VERY LEAST, IT'S NOT BEING ACCEPTED.
FYI, I tried copying and pasting: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Protect into Windows Explorer, but it doesn't work. I get a message saying the file can't be found. What should I do?1 person needs an answerI do too

You cannot 'reset' your username / password, they are fixed & supplied by your mail provider, ISPusername and password are contained in the registry, and not in your profile. So you need your username & password, and type of account, before you can even think about setting up Outlook

Ok, I requested and received my username & password. But Outlook keeps requesting that info, over and over again. What should I do now, thanks.
