Hi all,Enjoying Windows 7 Beta 1 a lot. But ran into something wierd. This is a rather cleannew install. Only other software loadedis AVG Free antivirus (maybe problem, dunno yet...)When I attempt to download files (trying to get drivers for various items right now) it seems that I.E. 8 will save the download, then quickly erase the file. At first I thought the downloads were failing. But with the download directory open I saw the file land there, thenwithin about 1 or 2 seconds disappear! I tried different download types, and different sites. Some files have made it, but not all and it seems to be random with mixed results on similar or same sites.Anyone else seen this issue?

Hi, first off, are you saving the files to a file, or just to the Temporary Internet Files folder?Because if you are keeping them in the TIF, IE8 may be deleting them. If this is not the case, you might want to post about it in the IE8 Beta forum (HERE)

Thanks star, I'll try the I.E. 8 forum. The files were originally going to the user\downloads folder, and I tried a number of other locations thinking it might make a difference. It didn't.

Welp, turns out the problem was AVG Antivirus. After an uninstall, the downloads would complete and not get erased. Looks like I need to find another AV until this one's fixed. :(
