IE/MSN Problems after Language packs installed
HiI installed some of the language packs and afterwards I encountered all kinds of problems. I am not sure if they were related to the language packs or not. I decided to reinstall the RC and go from there. So far I have not encountered the same problems on the reinstall. I did not install the language packs when I reinstalled the RC.With either MSN or IE I would access my home page and then go to a second page and it would just hang and not display the page. The progress bar would be in the far left (barely see the green). If in IE I could open a second window (tab), try to open a 2nd page in the tab and it would hang. I could then go back to the first tab (home page); scroll it up/down; go to second page and it would hang also. I could not terminate either IE or MSN. After a couple of power/off/on I started task manager and watched the various settings. All programs had the "running" status; all programs were using a low percentage of CPU; a very low percentage of network in use;etc. In other words, nothing appeared to be hung. Task Manager could not terminate either IE or MSN. I could only power off/on the system to get end the programs. Nothing else appeared to be hung but I did not try any major systems (i.e., word, excel).This experience sort of interacts with the long time to install a language pack (not the download just the install).

Hi,could that be a problem with a specific language pack? I have the five "basic" languages installed (English[US/UK],German,Spanish[E],French and Japanese), experimented with keyboard switching, changing the display language, etc. and all is very easy to manage and works fine. The download/install process was as quick as any other update.Mob. AMD64 3000+, 1 G RAM, Mob. ATIRadeon9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)

HiI had selected all the packs. The download was in the expected time frame (reasonably quick). I had about 14 packs installed and it took 4-6 hours. I only used the basic English pack. I did not try the uninstall since I had forgot where it was located (not with add/remove programs).PC: ASUS P5K-E Intel Core 2 Duo (3 GHz); 2GB RAM; NVida GEForce 8500 GT; 2 physical SATA Drives C - OS (c is removable - 1 for WIN 7 and 1 for Vista); D - data;

Torbar,If you right click on the action center flag, windows update is an option. Once in the Windows update section, on the bottom of the left pane you will see a link to 'Installed updates'. That is where you would uninstall an update from.
