IE8 WIn7 ActiveX problem
Hi,
I'm writing javascript and creating ActiveX object by calling ActiveXObject() function, but it is returning null. I tried enabling all activeX in IE8->InternetOption->Security->Custom level, but still its displaying custome error(my error)
which is false part of if condition, i.e. ActiveXObject() is returning null. No other error is displayed. Please let me know any solution to enable ActiveX in my system. Also tried installing FlashPlayer(ActiveX), but no use.
OS: Win 7
IE : 8
Thanks

Hi,
According to your description, I suggest to enable
ActiveX Installer Service in Windows 7:
1 Click “Start”
2 Input “Services.msc” in Search Box and press Enter
3 Find the ActiveX Installers service
Right-Click it and click "Start" option
