Recently I've been experiencing a strange instance. I'll be on a website browsing normally and open a new tab to search or go somewhere else. sometime IE will frees on that tab only. If I go to the previous tab everything works. However if I open task manager, it takes about a minutes before the tasks show up and it states that IE is not responding. But the page on the first tab does. I'm attaching the IE dump file link I created during the tab freeze. TIA
Can you try a clean boot and check ?
Also run IE without add-ons.
Hi Cyberwasp,
Have you made any modifications to the machine before the issue? Are you opening many pages? Is there any specific process occupying many system resources during this time?
According to my experience, this is a normal symptom if we have opened many webpages.
To get a better browsering experience, it is recommended to close the unnecessary processes and webpages.
If this issue occurred every time we opened a new tab.
We can take the following steps to have a troubleshoot.
1.Perform a clean boot to verify whether this issue is caused by the third party service conflict.
