I use windows 7 with ADSL connection to internet with router. It works properly in with fix private address 192.168.1.5 & gateway is 192.168.1.1. after some times I install "oracle vertual box" and install anather os. after that when the windows 7 reboot or hybernate the network connection always omit the ipaddress and the gateway what i used. In first time it happen i enter the new ip address for windows 7 192.168.1.85. now It only works that ip address and advance tcp/ip network id shown borth 192.168.1.85 & 192.168.1.5. when the machine bootup then I have to go advance tcp/ip point and needs to enter the ip as 192.168.1.85 and the gateway. but the working time it menton as 192.168.1.5. I remove the "oracle vertual box" but the problem still their please help me.
