Your IP 10.0.55.22 doesn't look right to me, infact when i did a IP look up of your's, it says This is a private IP address and cannot be traced.Hostname: 10.0.55.22 ISP: Organization: Proxy: None detected Type: Unknown Hmm just a thought, do you use a router or basically just a modem to connect to the net? Say if u're connecting to a router from a modem, try connecting directly to the modem instead. At the same time open up the device manager and verify the network adapter is detected and there's isn't any exclamation mark on it. Thing to look out for, ensure that the lan cable is not loosen, try swapping the lan cable if necessary, does your ISP require you to logged in with username and password before connecting? Does it require you to logged into pppoe and stuff? Lastly go to ctrl panel>network and sharing center and tell me the status of your network

Does the Internet work with a wired connection? What security/AV/firewall software do you have installed? Is the computer joined to an Active Directory domain? Can you ping other computers on the network? Can you ping the gateway?Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience

we have the same issue just with a wired connection. We came into work June 30th and all our machines have a yellow alert over the networking icon, saying no internet connection. but we do. Route print says i have a netmask of 0.0.0.0, when i delete that route and reboot, the alert is still there. Thanks!
