IRPStackSize Help
Hi I've Setup a Home Network and Using a XP Pro Machine as a Server, Network is up and running and working great for so long and then. im unable to access any folders on the acting server. iget the message not enough storage server space etc? So I've been changing the IPSTACKSIZE in Regedit and uping the value and it cures for problem for like a month? Its done it again and the current value is at 48? this is a joke having to keep changing it? what can i do?

That should be IRPStackSize , and you have to type it exactly like that, because the name is case-sensitive.

Sorry Steve My Spelling Mistake it is IRPStackSize I am Refering to. and its Created Carefully in the correct registery location which is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parametersare you able to assist me in whyI have to keep increasing it so often? and is their an limit? what if i reach the limit? whats my alternative?Regards Dan

That's the right location. I'm sorry, but I don't know why setting its value isn't working for you.

Had to Increase to 49 this morning, not looking good ive been told 50 is the limit? whats next?
