I Have a Windows 7 - runs real slow....
I have attempted to run regular maintance on my "7" but My "PC Registry Machanic" tells me that my "system health is low" - with my "old" computer, I would Windows optimize and disc clean. With the "7" I do not have the option. Repeated uses of the PC Registry Mechanic is not giving me any joy. HelpThanksFL1 person needs an answerI do too

HelpThanksFLYou should be asking these questions in one of the Windows7 forums instead of the WindowsXP ones.Windows7 has the disk cleanup option in Control Panel > Performance Information and Tools. Also from there you can click on Advanced Tools and you'll find Open Disk Defragmenter. There are also other tools to help find out why you may be running slow.If this is a recent occurrence, what has changed that may have caused it? Have you installed/updated any hardware or software?Have you done a complete malware scan with whatever virus/spyware detector you have installed? What make and model system is it? What size are the drives? How fast is the CPU? How much RAM is installed? Are you using Windows Firewall, or do you have a 3rd party one or a suite in place? Do you have a verified backup or image of your whole system? These (and more) are all things people need to know in order to give you a reasonable solution to your problem.SC Tom-There's no such thing as TMI when asking for tech support.
