I cannot get an XP wireless computer to connect to the internet while a Windows 7 computer can log right on.
I cannot connect my windows xp computer to the wireless internet in my home. My roommate setup the wireless network using her windows 7 operating system. I can bring another Windows 7 laptop and connect with no problems and I can connect to the net with my XP system everywhere else. I'm fairly certain that my XP system is trying to connect through the Windows 7 computer and doesn't even see the wireless switch. Any ideas what could be the problem? I'm all out of ideas.1 person needs an answerI do too

You may need to verify your wireless router's configuration and then manually configure a wireless network in windows. Here you have some links that may help you: http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-10878_11-1048162.html http://www.home-network-help.com/wireless-adapter.html Are quite similar, but will help you properly on what you find. Please let me know if you had success with this.
