I cannot update to 8.1 again

Hi there,

I have bought a Dell XPS duo 12 laptop at Christmas, which had Windows 8 already built in. I updated it to Windows 8.1 when it was available in the store and had 8.1 for a few weeks. Then my pc started to perform poor and started to get very slow so I reset it to factory settings. This made it go back to Windows 8. So I searched the store for 8.1 but it said "sorry this upadate is'nt available for your pc, or you might be running an edition of Windows that doesn't support updating from the store"

I do beleive that windows 8 an edtion that ou can update to 8.1. I also have all the KBs required installed. But still it comes with that message.

Can someone tell me how I can 8.1 now?

Hi,

Please refer to this link and check this issue again:

Why can't I find the update in the Store?

Make sure KB 2871389 and KB 2917499 have been installed.

Check the Windows Version.

Refresh the content in the Store.
