This is since I dl'ed 7 evrything else is great but now I cannot play a dvd, burn....PC HP Touchsmart 64 bit acts like it doesn't have that drive at all. Using ConvertXto DVDfor example, after PC processed video files it asked to put in DVD into drive....I do and nothing happens. In fact, if I try to force burn, there is no drive there.Help please :)

Have a read through of this thread, see if the solutions in there help, if not then we need some more information, are the dvd drives visible in Computer? are they showing up in Device manager, do they have a yellow ! beside them? if so are there any error codes listed?

I have the same problem. My computer does show dvd writer.
