I have no sleep option
Why would I have no sleep option in any of the power saving properties or on start menu?I have gone to advanced settings, show unavailable settings, etc. but under the sleep option and buttons and lid action options, my only choices are do nothing, turn off, or hibernate.

I've usually found the sleep mode disabled on Windows installations when the graphics driver wasn't installed properly. Which graphics card are you using and which drivers are installed at the moment?

You're right. It never occurred to me that graphics drivers affected sleep mode. I came back to post that I had figured it out and saw your reply.I hadn't installed graphic drivers yet because I only installed the beta last night and played with it a little while. Installing them solved the problem.Like a lot of people, I don't meet the hardware requirements for this beta, but I wanted to try it anyway. I knew it would probably be slow, etc. but it does pretty well on my Compaq Evo N1000Cwith 1.8Ghz P4, 512MB ram, Ati Mobility Radeon 7500 32mb
