I messed up my friend's computer when I logged on at his house.
I went over to a friend's house to use his wireless network. Once I logged onto his router I was able to access the Internet. However, now my friend cannot log onto his own computer even though I was using mine. His computer has my name on it, example Smith PC. And it is asking for a network key which I saw briefly when I logged on at his house but don't know how to find it. How can he get on the internet with his computer now?1 person needs an answerI do too

Why did you log "onto his router"? What did you do exactly? It sounds like you went into his router's configuration utility and changed things instead of just entering the wireless encryption passphrase into your own computer's wireless network manager. If this is the case, he'll need to go into the router's configuration utility and change things back to where they were before.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

And if you cannot figure out how to do that, visit the router makers help pages for 'how to reset to factory condition'
