I was looking to delete all users since it is only one person using. I deleted the Admistrative acct. and now can not make other changes without an administrative acct. Any idea's how to reset the computer to get around this problem? If you mean that you deleted your brother's account, which was the only user account with Administrator privileges, then you can log in to the built-in Administrator account.Log out from all accounts, and at the Welcome screen, press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice. The "classic" log in dialog box should appear. Type in Administrator as the user (or select from the drop down list if available). The default password is blank (i.e., no password). Once you log in using the built-in Administrator account, either change your father's account to have Administrator privileges or (preferably) create a new account with Administrator privileges -- that way you will have the built-in Administrator account as a "safety net."If you want to automatically log in to your father's account bypassing the Welcome screen:Click Start, Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 , and click Ok. Select the user account from the list (the account to which you want toautomatically logon). UncheckUsers must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and click Ok. Type the user account password and complete the process.
