My Outlook Express is tied to Verizon. When I checked my mail earlier today, I got a Verizon error message on the first email. When I deleted that particular email, every email in my inbox was wiped clean. I called Verizon and they couldn't help. I can see that these emails are in my Outlook Express file. I renamed them Inboxold.dbx so as to establish a new Inbox.dbx to get ongoing emails. I also made a copy of Inboxold.dbx and put it into my documents. How do I retrieve these old emails and get them back into Outlook Express. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Try doing a File/Import/Messages to import from your old dbx file.
