IncrediMail Help
I use IncrediMail all the time at home in Florida. However, whenever we are overseas (I'm in Barcelona today) I cannot send email. This is an ongoing problem that only happens when we are travelling out of the US and we are out of the US a LOT. I won't be home for a couple more months so my email box is full of email I can't send. It is not firewall setting or any of that because it works all over the US for both sending and receiving. It worked 2 weeks ago in Puerto Rico just fine. Plus, we always have this problem so when I get home from every trip my email automatically sends. I have no problem receiving email - it works perfectly everywhere! Just sending. HELP - HELP - HELP - HELP - HELP !!!!!!!!!1 person needs an answerI do too

This probably has nothing to do with IncrediMail (awful as it is) and everything to do with your email provider and the Internet Service Provider. Your email program is set to send out using your home email provider's mail server. Most Internet Service Providers will not allow sending email over their network using an outgoing mail server (SMTP) which doesn't belong to them because this relaying technique is most often used by spammers. An illustration: If you get your Internet connection from ExampleISP, your email server settings might be: Incoming: pop.ExampleISP.net Outgoing: smtp.ExampleISP.net Then when you are connecting to the Internet away from home and not using ExampleISP to get to the Internet, the foreign ISP doesn't allow mail to be sent using smtp.ExampleISP.net. The workaround when you are out of the country is to access your email using your email provider's web mail interface and not IncrediMail. If your email provider doesn't have web mail (very unlikely), then set up a web-based email account like GMail or Yahoo.com for use when out of the country.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
