Install VM using bootable USB

An additional Question -

I don't have a DVD Drive on my Laptop. Is it possible to install Guest OS using Hyper-V with a USB bootable drive on Host ? I wan to Run Windows 10 guest  on Windows 8.1 host.

You can use an ISO file, no need for an external DVD drive.

And no, you cannot use a bootable USB to install a VM.  You can only use a bootable USB to install on bare metal.
