Integrate Cisco w MSoft Function - AutoDialer
Phone/Fax REA 9 supports a standard modem that shares a line with your telephone or a telephone equipped with the Telephone Application Programming Interface (TAPI) and the appropriate telephone Chapter Seventeen Page 309 driver software installed on your computer. ·The Dialer uses TAPI technology included with Microsoft Windows. TAPI functions as a link between your computer and your modem or telephone. Select the correct modem from the list of widows modems by clicking on the drop down arrow located to the left of the Phone device combo box. To set up your modem open the windows control panel and select Phone and modem options. REA will default to all the rules set up by windows in that dialog. I have a Cisco 7941 series. Don’t know what VOIP im using. I run windows 7, and need to use the dialer that REA needs us to use. Best Regards, Joshua Glass Systems Enginer

Hi, Where you get the information from? Do you want to create a dial-up connection? If so, please go to Control Panel -> All Control Panel Items -> Network and Sharing Center -> Set up a new connection or network -> Set up a dial-up connection. After clicking next, the computer will detect the modem automatically, make sure you have load the modem driver from the manufacture's site. To set your modem, please refer to your Phone/Fax instruction. control Panel -> Phone and modem -> Modems tab -> Select or add the correct modem If it still doesn't meet your requirement, I suggest contacting REA 9 support to configure the settings. Best Regards, Niki Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hello Thanks for the reply, the customer sent this info from his REA 9 maual. I just got an email from REA support, please see below. The phone system just needs to be set up using the Windows Phone Dialer (that’s what REA hooks into to work with phone systems for its Phone Dialer). Once it is set up through the Windows Phone Dialer, you can go to Tools > Options in REA 9, click on the Phone/Fax tab, and select the phone from the Phone device list. I beleive they are using Windows 7 with Cisco Call Manager Express. I have setup modems before, but I am not familiar with setting up the Windows Phone Dialer.Best Regards, Joshua Glass Systems Enginer
