Is NIS 2009 working with Win 7 yet?
I had a hard drive failure, so I had to restart everything...and now I can't seem to find a link to the Norton 360 beta that was there a while back, and they just want me to shell out money, which as a college student, I'd rather not pay for extra things if I can help it...I have a key for NIS 2009 from the family pack still, and I'm hoping I can run it. All the threads I searched for compatibility seem to be from back in late january, and that means 2 months of possible patches to happen. xDAny luck either way, anyone?

Yes, NIS 2009 now compatible. Earlier builds, such as 16.0 or 16.2 were not and I personally experienced some problems with them; the Norton gadget wasn't working and they failed to launch at startup. Norton 360 was later released, and it touted 100% compatibility with 7. It's true. Developers ported all of N360's updates/patches/fixes to NIS 2009 in the 16.5 update. Download NIS 16.5, and install. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Firewall/Norton-Internet-Security.shtmlNorton AntiVirus 2009
