Is Someone using a fake Live Security Professional Icon and Virus Warning to Get into my computer
I have been receiving warnings of various threats from Live Security Professional. Upon reading some of he warnings, the grammar is not proper, For Example: A Threat has been detected and a Hacker wants to "STOLE" My private information. Another says "A tool used to remoely attack hackers computers and steal personal information. Therefore, it is recommended to remove it." Surely Microsoft hasn't downsized o the point of laying off their proof readers... Plus, My Norton Software hasn't been gigging me with these threats. Is this a problem? jokenevans

Live Security Professional is a fake. It is not a Microsoft program - it is malware that disables Norton and seeks to steal your credit card info. Try the procedure on this page (under the heading "Automated Removal Instructions for Live Security Suite using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:") http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-live-security-suite It is for the removal of an earlier variant but should work. You may also want to contact your financial institution and inform them that your details may have been compromised by a trojan on your computer.
