Hi,You cannot log the defect. You may need to download and install error report application.-AJ

AJ - Since the RC was released, there is no more reporting of bugs and such by way of the feedback tool or error reporting app - unless he's got an invitation from Connect, or MSDN or TechNet Plus to be a part of the inner circles of the beta team. These forums are good as it gets for the rest of us.

Ok thanks folks, I've been testing out media centerin my country (multimedia development is one of my skills). Here we have legacy TV channels broadcast over UHF/VHF and we also haveDVB-T broadcast over UHF (called FreeView) and so can pick it up using a standard UHF Ariel.I have found that Media Center is not able to detect both DVB-T and normal UHF/VHF broadcasts. It can do one, butwill not detect the other channels. So if I chooseDVB-T I cannot see normal channels, and if I choose the normal ones, I can't see DVB-T channels.I have run some competiting PVR products and determined that it should be able to detect all channels in all the formats that the hybrid card supports. If I set the card to Ariel, Cable or Satellite, it should be able to find all channels that are available. If I add a legacy video recorder to the equation the situation gets even worse as the video channels are not detected (s-video connection). The other issue is that for analogue TV (normal UHF/VHF) I should be able to enter channel frequenies to find the stations rather than relying on auto-detect (my old PVRsoftware just used an xml file that contained the stations settings and frequencies/channel numbers). The impact of these two issues pretty much makes Media Center unusable which since it is I think a key buying point for the 'premium' versions of the product - I would have thought that it is important enought to ensure that it works properly before releasing to the general public.
