Is this a bug for homegroups or just something I'm missing in Windows 7?
I've recently set up a homegroup of 4 Windows 7 Home Premium computers. But I noticed the following in the attached file. NUMBER_1 does have a user logged in as Vivian. NUMBER_1 has no description for the PC. Vivian is the only account [and thus an administrator] on the PC. NUMBER_4 does have a user logged in as Andee. NUMBER_1 has "Andee" as adescription for the PC. Andee is an administrator. The PC does have an account called Vivian [who is an administrator] but Vivian isn't logged in. So why does NUMBER_1 and NUMBER_4 show Vivian in the image? Am I missing something? Thanks http://i356.photobucket.com/albums/oo7/gisabun/public_pics/homegroups.jpg

Hi,This is not a bug. It is caused that Vivian is the user account which joined Homegroup on the both computers. So Homegroup will show the documents of Vivian's on both computers. Here is a test on my 2 virtual machines. I added some words on it.

I can understand what your meaning. However on homegroup sharing it will share the user who joined to homegroup, as my screenshot shows, the second user on the computer will not be shared to homegroup. Thus "Computer Name" + "Shared User Name" should also make sence.
