for some reason when I sign on to my computer, I am kicked out. I also can't get my wireless connection. I receive the message: windows couldn't start because of a missing or corrupt file <windows root>system32\hol.d11 and says to reinstall this file. If the message is really "hol.dll" then yes, your computer is infected. If you made a typo and the file name in the message is really hal.dll (with an "a"), then you wouldn't be able to get into Windows.
