Issues with running .NET 3.5 Applications on fresh Windows 7 Install
We have recently just installed a fresh Windows 7 image on 7 new HP machines. We made one image using Norton Ghost and then deployed this image across the machines. Now when running some of our in house .NET 3.5 applications they seem to crash before the application can enter. I have tried placing try and catchs as close to start up as possible and can't seem to catch the error. I am wondering if there is anyway to reinstall the framework or if there are any other steps we can try to resolve this issue. Also to note this is only happening on these 7 machines we have another bunch of machines running same version of windows with same updates and not experiencing this issue.

I am wondering if there is anyway to reinstall the framework or if there are any other steps we can try to resolve this issue. you can remove and install .net 3.5 with the Control Panel->Turn windows features on or off [1] André [1] http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Turn-Windows-features-on-or-off"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

tried that and technically its not removing anything it simply disables and re enables the framework but the files themselves are the same. I am possibly looking at a way to completely clear these files out so I can install from scratch.
