I have a Japanese language win 7 Ultimate update which I used on 1 machine. It was very expensive. I just bought and English language version. It is best to use the Japanese version of another laptop. Can I use the Product Key I got with the English upgrade with the DVD Japanese version of the upgrade that I have. I won't use the English upgrade at all as it's a mess to install English over Japanese..

I ahve the answer from MS Sales. NO I can't. Product Keys are product specific.
