Why in the World and MS's INFINITE wisdom (NOT) is Java support disabled in Win 7???In todays world where 999999999% of all intenet programs run JAVA why would it be disabledand why is it so difficult to re-enalbe!!I manually set all my scripting and active x secuirty to ENABLE in IE but all to no avail!!!!What is the problem here MS???And why does the STUPID Protected mode is turned off message keep poping up??THis is SOOOOOOO ANOYING!!!!!I know its disabled, I DID IT!!!I don't need mommy or daddy MS telling me what I already know!!!Is there a setting to turn this irritating message off!!You wre supposed to make the OS easier not MORE FRUSTRATING!!!!

This is Pretty good13+hours later and I still got MS STUMPED!!! Oh and BTW I Have checked the other Java support forums and they don't pertain.My problem is that I was trying to run an online scan of a drive for viruses, needs Java to runwhen I try to run it, program says that either java is not installed or disabled. Tried to DL and install latest Java from sun, when I try to install it, message says I alreadyhave latest version of Java?!?!?!!? SO why won't it run and why does it give me this grief>????COY

Check security settings in your browser to see if you disabled Java. If that isn't it, contact Sun support.
