Hi everyone, We seem to have a unique issue here that I have yet to come across on any forums. We are currently imaging 17 laptops with windows 7 enterprise. We have a working KMS host and the count does does increase every time a fresh install of windows 7 is registered. The image we created was strictly for the same model of laptop so sysprep was not used. After all 17 machines were imaged we realized the count had only increased by 1. We realized that leaving out sysprep was probably the problem so we took 3 machines and syspreped them. This made no difference at all with the count. The activation ID also did not change after using sysprep. Our count is currently at 9. So my question is, is there any difference between syspreping the image and syspreping the machine after it has been imaged, and would it have any effect on the count? Thanks!
