Keep getting this message when I start the computer from Avira Antivirus
Yes my avira antivirus, opens with a message that as follows: you have administrator rights you are currently working with administrator rights. for security reasons, it is generally recommended that you only work with a restricted user account. Avira is only looking out for your best interests. Ideally, you shouldn't log into your computer as an Administrator unless you are installing/de-installing or configuring something; unfortunately, most people aren't willing to deal with the hassle of learning proper account management. I, personally, try to avoid logging into my home PC as an Administrator as if the Admin account was some sort of evil plague because I know how easily malware and viruses can infect your computer when you are logged in as an Administrator. I highly recommend that you learn how to create a restricted account and only use it for your daily needs. The following Microsoft Article explains how you can do this:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/winxp/accounts.mspxAlso:If you are looking for a free an AntiVirus solution, you might also try:http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/I hear it works quite well for being free...http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en/msestart/thread/a3b4b1dc-e6db-411f-9402-502ddad35efbOn the other hand, if you are willing to spend $70 a year then I might suggest Norton Internet Security 2010:http://antivirus.norton.com/content/en/us/home_homeoffice/html/paid/seo02252010/SEO_Static_Option_3_Col_Radio_02252010.html?om_sem_cid=hho_sem_sy:us:ggl:en:e|kw0000002862|5832778996&om_sem_site=I personally use ZoneAlarm, but it is quite a mess to effectively configure whereas Norton is very easy to use and Microsoft Security Essentials should also be easy to use.
