It looks like is localized for the the information, but not the actual shortcuts key combinations. Is there a more accurate listing somewhere? One example, and there are several more, in the WordPad and Paint sections it shows that the Shortcut for Save is CTRL + S, which is wrong, it should be CTRL+G (Guardar) in Spanish. I need an accurate source on the keys for globalization. I have seen blog entries dating back to January 2010 on this topic when doing a search with Bing and wondering if this is a known bug or if there is an update? I need help on this. I do not see this as a viable solution, namely i do not know spanish so i can not post nor read from the link above. I need a reponse for a solution in English. A few examples: Ctrl-N ("New" in English) is "Negrita" ("Bold" in Spanish), Ctrl-O ("Open" in English) does nothing on a Spanish display, correct is Ctrl-A ("Abrir" in Spanish), Ctrl-P is the same in English and Spanish ("Print" and "ImPrimir", because Ctrl-I is already used for inserting a tab space), Ctrl-S ("Save" in English) is "Subrayar" ("Underline" in Spanish), correct is Ctrl-G ("Guardar") and Ctrl-U ("GUardar" = "Save as"). Even the function keys work differently. The same errors reappear in the Wordpad online helpfile. As far as I remember, this translation bug is known since those help pages for Windows exist. I would suggest trying to contact one of the support team that maintains the pages. EDIT: To make things better again, the underlined keyboard suggestions in the Wordpad start menu are partially wrong, too. No, there's no list. I've got the shortcuts only by switching the display languages (my Windows edition is Ultimate, and I need that for translating technical terms or menu items between English, Spanish and German users). About the "app dependence": You must differentiate between apps that are included in Windows (like Wordpad, Notepad and others) and those that are not (like MS Word). Office applications have their own shortcuts which depend completely on the language of your Office version (and there, they are correct "per language"). They are different from Windows shortcuts. Windows shortcuts, on the other hand, have a certain (not complete) consistency on all Windows-own applications. Even there, unfortunately, the official shortcut descriptions are partially wrong (see above, Notepad luckily shows the correct shortcuts in its menus). - And no, I don't have other contact recommendations than the usual ones: http://support.microsoft.com/select/Default.aspx?target=assistance.
