LAN connection drops after resume from sleep
I've recently installed Win 7 RC on a simple Dell Vostro 200 with embedded Intel 82562V NIC. On occasion, after resuming from sleep, the NIC loses its connection completely. I run the troubleshoot and nothing tends to work. The only way to getit to come back up is to unplug the cable and reconnect. This is an intermittent problemand anannoyance more than anything. I've tried to reinstall the driver, but everytime i install and reboot, win 7 auto loads the driver. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

Have you tried the newest Intel PRO/100Vista drivers (April 1, 2009)?http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=407&OSFullName=Windows+Vista*&lang=eng&strOSs=163&submit=Go%21

actually this happened to me too, whenever i close my laptop the lan will drop and i would have to restart my comp to get internet access again. i tried looking up the windows update to try and uninstall microsoft lan update, but the only update that it shows is the update for office 2007 which mean that i cant just uninstall it i would have to go online to get the original driver for it and see if that fix the issue at hand

No issues here with a HP m7680y with onboard 82562V NIC on Windows 7 RC x64.

I have the same problem with Dell D630. Changed drivers - nothing works except a restart.

I was thinking chipset, BIOS, or software conflict. Since I have several machines with a 82562V NIC (HP and Gateway) without any issues.
