All, I have a simple question. When installing the LPR service (Unix Printing) some machines ask for an xp setup cd, and some don't. Many machines copy a lot of what is on the install disk to a "i386" directory on the hard drive (or separate install partition). If the i386 folder exists and contains the needed files and the installer knows where to look for it, then it shouldn't ask for the install media.HTH, JW
