Hi All,
I believe there may be a way to have this activeX which installs when accessing LYNC Web App for the first time, happen transparently to the user or be not needed at all?
Anybody aware of such a thing?

Hi,DD
I think you can set group policy in Active Directory to configure the ActiveX installation policy with silently install for sites in Trusted zones.Details you can check
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd631688(v=ws.10).aspx
Regards,
Thanks for your reply Sharon. I perhaps should've been a bit more clear, the silent activeX install I was hoping to make transparent for external community members not internal staff.
I'm sure I read it somewhere but now can't seem to find it and after reading your comment maybe what I read actually inferred it was for internal staff.
Thanks,
DD
ActiveX Installer service does not help in MSI/exe based installations.
Lync Web App installs LWAPlugin64BitInstaller32.MSI so AXIS wont help.
